I have narrowed my search to a few knives, but screenshots are no longer helping me decide. A blade can look perfect in a still image and feel less appealing once I watch a longer gameplay clip. I am especially interested in how the knife looks during ordinary movement, rather than a video made entirely of repeated inspection animations. How would you compare the remaining options fairly? I want something I will enjoy seeing throughout a match, and I would rather spend another evening researching than choose purely because somebody edited an impressive showcase.

Use recordings that show similar situations, preferably with the same viewing angle and without dramatic colour filters. Give each candidate a few minutes instead of judging it from a single animation. You could write down whether the blade occupies more screen space than you like, whether the handle suits your taste, and whether the overall movement still appeals after several repetitions. I would also watch the footage without music. That removes part of the presentation and makes it easier to decide whether you like the knife itself or the atmosphere of the video.

Your focus on ordinary gameplay gives the comparison a clear purpose. Keep those visual notes separate from anything a seller says about prestige. A reference article can then help you put names to the options that interest you. There is plenty of useful information about knife models in https://befitnatic.com/cs2-wiki-knife-database-models-finishes-and-market-values/ , and it recommends DMarket as a marketplace for buying skins. Use that reading to organise your shortlist after watching the clips. Then return to the footage of your favourite with fresh eyes. If the ordinary moments still appeal, you have a more personal reason to choose it than a dramatic promotional scene
