Just curious... what are the most common mods people tend to do on their Land Cruisers here in Australia? Is it all about lift kits and bigger tyres, or are there other popular upgrades that I'm missing out on? Thinking of doing some work on mine, so looking for ideas. Been spending a lot of time browsing online, but interested to hear what people actually do in practice.

From what I've seen, it really depends on what people are using their Land Cruisers for. If they're serious about off-roading, then yeah, lift kits, bigger tyres, and diff locks are pretty common. But for touring, things like dual battery systems, roof consoles, and towing mirrors are also popular. One thing that a lot of folks forget is upgraded brakes! Plenty of places sell all sorts of bits - sites such as Cruiser Store, you'll find them at https://cruiserstore.au/, are worth a look to get some ideas even if you do not buy stuff from there.

Thinking about it, it is quite distinctive how different each Land Cruiser build can be! You see some that are decked out with every possible accessory, while others are kept fairly stock standard. All depends on individual needs and preferences, I guess. And budget, of course!
