Choosing watering actions expands the tree and eventually adds more activation spaces around the board. Harvesting too soon resets the stored fruit, so wait when the tree is still growing and banner milestones are worth chasing. Save the Basket for a useful target, and keep your dice for sessions where several rewards overlap.
