Another issue that is painfully obvious is that they've been squeezing their Runescape customers dry to fund a huge series of failures. The money they have spent on Stellar Dawn and Thirdscape, Mechscape, Thirdscape, a series of free iPhone games, as well as the enormous fee to license the Transformers brand, as well as the mountainous amount of cash used in making the Transformers game, has been paid by Runescape players.

Jagex's other flops (8 Realms & Funorb), however, were not as disappointing. While Jagex's other game-changing flops (8 Realms, Funorb, etc.) may have brought in some money, it doesn't cover the development costs therefore we've had to subsidise them as well. Birthright of the Dwarves has been released a couple of days back. It is supposed to be an interesting and challenging adventure. I haven't yet completed it as I don’t meet the prerequisites. However, most players seem to be to be having trouble with boss fights.

Jagex is working on two additional quests "Missing Predicted Death", an adventure that includes Sliske and Itchlarin, as in addition to Death (as seen in the Grim Reaper). The quest will focus on Sliske's rivalry (probably not the best word, as I don’t think it could be described as a rivalry given that Itchlarin was much more powerful until recently so let’s just say Sliske does not like Itchlarin too significantly) and the disappearance of Death.
