La description

Monopoly GO treasure shapes help you choose where to dig by showing which covered spaces could still contain each missing object. Match those shapes to the remaining space, then use revealed empty tiles to rule out impossible placements before spending another Pickaxe. Players also checking Monopoly Go Partners Event should keep each event's objectives distinct.

Read the footprint before choosing a tile

A treasure's footprint describes how many tiles it occupies. A 1x3 treasure covers three tiles in a straight line, while a 2x2 treasure occupies a square of four tiles. Compare the full footprint with the covered spaces still available; a space that cannot fit the object is not a useful place to search for that object.

Once a dig reveals part of a treasure, inspect the surrounding squares before searching elsewhere. Following the visible object gives your next tap a specific purpose: uncovering another part of something you have already located.

Keep small objects in mind when narrowing your search. A single covered tile cannot hold a 2x2 treasure, but it could hold a 1x1 treasure if one remains on that board. Shape reading eliminates impossible locations; it does not reveal every hidden position.

Why a base Pickaxe count is not a finishing budget

The listed base count reflects the treasure tiles to uncover, not a fixed total that guarantees completion. Empty digs use tools without exposing treasure, so reaching that number does not mean the board must be finished. You need every required treasure uncovered before collecting the completion reward and advancing.

Stubborn tiles also change the cost because they need two taps before breaking. When a tile remains covered after the first hit, account for the extra tap before deciding how far your remaining tools can take you.

Exploding critters can clear surrounding tiles, reducing the amount of direct digging needed in that area. After one clears part of the board, reassess the newly exposed spaces before choosing your next tile.

During a digging event, tournaments, Quick Wins, and other special events can provide Pickaxes. Dice rolls support progress through those activities, but Pickaxes are the tools spent on the treasure grid. Check the available tool rewards before committing more rolls to a milestone.

Before your next digging session, identify the largest missing shape and compare it with the covered spaces that remain. When checking another event option through monopoly go racers event buy, first confirm the event name, timer, and reward preview in your game, then set your resource budget for the activity you intend to play.
