I'm at level 129. I started playing RS roughly a month before RS2 was launched. Since I was in middle school in the time of my release, it was very easy (and usually just a few days) to find opportunity to engage in RS. I meant that I was a normal child with good academics. I also played regular sports. However, when you're young, there's only so much you can do and I was among the very first people in my county to get DSL back then (Still have it fuuuu.png) So what did I have to lose by getting my scape on? God knows how much I've learned about computers from that game.
However, I'm not here to nostalgia. RS released a multitude of high-level updates during the past year. They include chaos weapons and godwars. nex. corp, and chaos. This doesn't bother me however I do have a lot of other things I don't own. However, if I had the time to play more, these could be my own.
The community has experienced the biggest modifications in RuneScape. Most of the older players who belonged to large clans in the past 3 years have grown up. The new era of players are here, there's no going back, and adding the wilderness isn't going to alter anything. PVP has been a nightmare for me.
PVP has become a series of insults about x and then an excuse to justify x. Since I don't play enough to have the ability to play an uncontrolled weapon, or have the money to buy turmoil, it can be difficult to locate PVM teams that aren’t LS masses.
I'm not offending anyone, but I am being a woman about this stuff. But, I think that runescape has gained more popularity in the past three-four years. I'm not judging anyone because I've played longer, hell I've met some pretty chill 09ers.
However, it is strange that my boss's ability to purchase multiple levels for more than 100 million dollars is now a requirement. I can remember when maging DKs using firebolt was thought to be normal, now that's just ridiculous. My level has been playing for only half the time I've had and they're very much into Runescape. It's awful to be the random player who people see saying things like "wow 99 mage, you're not living a life." I'm not a fan of things becoming too serious. I hope people see my point of view.
I was thinking about minigames that are currently in the wilderness, which will soon be relocated to the "Gamer's Grotto" north of Falador. However, I find the overall concept to be a disaster. Instead of making sure that minigames are played in the correct places, according to their origins, they'll be put together in an absurd location.
