La description

was a simple case of being bored with the game overall, I never made it to the end without achieving an individual character's max level. I was not feeling any passion for the game.

A few days ago, I thought "Hey I'll just create the paladin I want to play with, similar to Uther" which is the plan I took. I had reached level 5 and was ready to leave when I got an invitation to join a random guild. I was invited to an RP guild.

I was confused, but joined the guild regardless.

But, let me be clear, I've never had any experience in WoW RP. I clearly stated this during the chat with guild members however, the person who invited me said it was fine, and they could teach me the ropes.

The person who taught me, stayed for two full days giving me a lesson in RP and some basic lore details and everything. This person helped me level up my character so I could RP more effectively (By transmogs, etc).

The person who taught me was an untrained novice about something I had never experienced before, and is essentially the main reason I'm here today.

In retrospect, I can be sure that the guild I was part of wasn't ideal for roleplay.

The the GM was a dramatic queen. God-emoting wasn't atypical, and the stories were in-depth and provocative.

However, they were welcoming and genuine. They realised that I was just starting out and assisted me in each step of the way.

This was 7 years ago. The guild is no more in existence, and I'm willing to say I don't recall any names of the members. ).

After I'd gotten into the game, I tried out being a GM in my own RP guild. It lasted around three months , and was not too bad. I still have the guild on an Alt.

I was still completely new to the game. Poor DPS I couldn't even check my statistics, and didn't use WoWhead.

I was clearly not happy with my fellow members apart from one warlock.

When the dungeon had been completed, she sent me an invitation for a party and invited me into her Garrisson.
