La description

That's why I LOVED RuneScape. There was infinite methods to locate ways to feel like you beat the machine. I really like games where you're making spreadsheets and timing runs and only trying to be as great as possible as a participant, not just as a personality. Frankly, the closet thing I believe there is to RuneScape is Path of Exile. I know, I understand, RuneScapeplay is NOTHING similar, but the method by which in which the community disagrees with RuneScape gives me this vibe. I have spent a ton of time in Path of Building hoping to game the system and make exciting and new builds. I need something like that, but using a more RPG slant. RuneScape mechanisms are garbage and should never be replicated. There's very little actual control over its motion imo that is crazy it hasn't been turned into ASDW and movement. Let me know if anybody knows about any other MMOs that really reward people and creative as PLAYERS.

Minmaxing and the rate was the way for you. I can say I was enthusiastic about dungeoneering and minigames as everything you enjoyed efficiency. I had been efficient and good at there and loved spending time with other people, not simply efficiency and seeking victories tho. Later I maxed but didn't like that process much. Finally rs3 was destroyed with some mad p2w upgrades that murdered minigames also. What I would like to convey with all of this is that rs had multiple ways to play and appreciate RuneScape. Efficiency for those who seeked it, chatroom for people who desired it, minigames and pvp, pures and RP, economy and achievements and slighly pve too (more today).

I believe like RuneScape's achievement nowadays is predicated on two matters: nostalgia and already being a game. I'm of the opinion that most of RuneScape players now, had they not played with when they were younger, would not provide RuneScape a chance because the basic gameplay loop is really boring and time consuming for very little payoff. That is where nostalgia fills the gap since you know you like the game and you'll put up with the crap. A new player being told that there's 100 hours of tedious grinding standing between them and end game PvE content (at a bare minimum) will be very reluctant to start playingwith.

A huge part of RuneScape is your ability. This is really where my point comes in. People want to mill for all those targets like maximum capes 120s, and completionist capes because you're rewarded with a big banner you can throw in your back that says'Look how cool I am'. Because RuneScape is popular those goals have worth. If nobody's there to see it, if you reach a max profession level who gives a shit? If RuneScape lost of its playerbase I will guarantee people would not feel inclined to achieve these goals if there is no one to really compete and show off. That's fundamentally why it is so difficult for a'new'RuneScape to eliminate the ground. You will need the playerbase to create RuneScapeplay attractive.Went through old Emails came across the day Jagex nuked RuneScape

Player here. The improvements they've made during the years totally warrants giving it another chance, although EOC had a release that is rough. It allowed for bosses to become challenging without the abilities, so that it makes for higher profitability the greater that the PvMer someone is. I'd certainly recommend giving it a chance. RS3 is overloaded with MTX that it is keeping me, although I have heard similar favorable comments and would be interested in giving it a go. Only looking at RuneScape for any quantity of time provides me eye cancer with the overload of ugly UI components, and players with shit that is sparkling and glowing.
