La description

I write an email to this sender, stating that Jagex discovered me and I'm not going to utilize Jagex's services (and I don't really have any plans to), or email them. Jagex sends me a second email shortly after. Jagex (which is the name I have used to believe is the REAL Jagex) informs me that the email came from a fake sender using my Jagex address to hide their original. They tried to phish for me, etc.

This scam is quite frequent. Is it a scam? Have you received an email that threatened a lawsuit from Jagex? I found it strange that Jagex sent me this message and did not inform me about any prior appeals to my account which were rejected. And those of you who know the way things work at Jagex is in 2012... would they even try to sue me over simply giving my account away? Surely that would do them more harm than good.

My hypothesis: The fall in Runescape's quality was indirectly caused by Dungeoneering. The 25th skill was intended to increase the number of players and generate an increase in revenue. Dungeoneering did not boost Runescape players or bring in the revenue needed.

Insight Venture Partners was the majority owner Jagex. It must have happened later in 2010. Go to the wall, and then listen at that IVP/Jagex 2010 meeting.

Representatives from Insight Venture Partners to representatives of Jagex We held this meeting regarding Jagex's cash flow. We believed that the update of April 2010,, which addressed "dungeoneering" could increase your market share within the gamers' market. It was a mistake to believe that your cash flow has improved since April 2010. You had the opportunity. We'll make things in our own way.
