After a tense 2021 season following a bizarre 2021 season NFL is expected to return with a vengeance starting in September. Madden 22 will be available on August 20th, bringing many new features to the annual game. A brand new coaching system, a completely overhauled GUI and an extensive scouting system are just the tip of the iceberg, with plenty of other enhancements to quality of life making Madden 22 a huge improvement over previous versions.

Madden 22 isn't currently being offered for pre-order. EA Play members can save some money by purchasing from the Microsoft Store or PlayStation Store.

Like fans of all other NFL teams, Buffalo Bills fans look at every year's Madden NFL 22 videogame from EA Sports. EA revealed the ratings for the top ten players for safety in the latest version of the franchise on Thursday. Here are the top 10:

Buffalo Bills fans might be surprised to learn that neither Jordan Poyer or Micah Hyde are included on this list.

Mathieu and Baker, Bates, Simmons, Smith, and Simmons are all worthy of being in the Top 10. The remaining five on the other hand may be a subject of debate.

Hyde and Poyer's ratings have not yet disclosed. EA has not yet announced ratings for particular rookies or the top 10 players at certain positions.

If you examine Hyde and Poyer with some of the Top 10 safeties, it's easy to see why they should be rated higher.

In 2020, Poyer finished with 124 combined tackles, five passes protected two forced fumbles two interceptions as well as two sacks. Hyde finished with 70 combined tackles, five passes defensed and an interception.
